Biodiversity Loss is our Strongest Natural Defense Against Climate Change

As youth, we face unprecedented uncertainty as we deal with cross cutting and intersectional issues in this planetary crisis. The goal of the Canadian Youth Biodiversity Network (CYBN) is to Connect, Empower, and Encourage young people to raise their voices, advocate for biodiversity in different sectors of society. 

Our ultimate vision is to see Canada change for the better and support our national and international partners in making positive steps forward.

CYBN collaborates with multiple partners in Canada and across the world as we focus our youth lens on international proceedings like the UN Convention on Biological Diversity and the IUCN. 
Currently, we focus on capacity building programs, consultations, and networking opportunities for youth. ​In the coming years, we hope to place a greater focus on regional efforts in order provide more well informed recommendations to our partners and network.
